Camilla Moberg is a glass artist living and working in Fiskars Village. Strong organic shapes, contrasts and vivid colours are characteristic of her work, combined with a precise sense of sculpture.

She has been working as a free glass artist since 1995. 2005 she opened her own Gallery located in the basement of her home. Moberg is the founding member of both Onoma- the artist community in Fiskars Village and Lasikomppania in Nuutajärvi Glass Village. She is also a member of Ornamo and Suomen Kuvanveistäjäliitto.
Her own Collection includes multiple series of smaller glass products, a number of unique glass art works, sculpture-like light fixtures and light sculptures.. All works are manufactured as handwork in Finland, mostly in Nuutajärvi Glass Village. She has worked closely with Finland’s most skilled glass blowers ever since the beginning of her career in glass art.
”The transparency of glass is fascinating, the colours embodied in glass glow in a spectacular way, and light brings out new dimensions and possibilities.”
She has made works on commission for public spaces and private clients. The Möten- light sculpture in the lobby of the Folkhälsan building is constructed from 180 unique glass elements. Inclusive-light sculpture is based on a multicultural project 2016. Camilla Mobergs Glass Art ha been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. DoReMi 2 sculpture was ordered to a private Gallery in Seoul, Korea in the spring 2018. Moberg is now working on DoReMi -Art concept.
”I am endlessly inspired by natural stones and stoneformations. They symbolise to me humanity and sense of togetherness, the link between Man and nature”.
