In my art, I represent human beings in relation to themselves, to each other and being human in general. I am interested in the connection between body and mind: I try to describe feelings and states of mind by picturing the positions of a body, paying less attention to the face. In my artworks, concrete elements of nature have a function as building materials. For the human bodies, I am especially inspired by beach pebbles and stones on a sea shore. For the hair my inspiration is a seaweed called mermaid's hair, that grows on the shore stones. My themes vary from the integrity of the body and its violation to the exploration of inner strenghts through representation of gods and also the world of ancient humans, as examples.
